When I watched this movie, entitled "A Walk to Remember" directed by Adam Shankman, there's one thing that I can't forget. It makes my life change and realiuzed something I can't say. This movie is a romance film that can captured your heart.
This movie is a story of two person who deeply fall in love with each other. It started when Landon Carter(Shane West), a popular but rebellious person is threatened with expulsion after a hazing incident goes wrong. As a punishment, he need to participate in various school activities, including the spring musical, where he meet bookish and religious Jamie Sullivan(Mandy Moore), the only daughter of a church pastor, Reverend Sullivan(Peter Cayote). Landon has difficulty learning his lines, so he ask Jamie to assist him. She agrees under one condition. Landon must promise not to fall in love with her.
Landon and Jamie begin practicing together at her house after school. As they spend more time together, a friendship begins to develop.
During the scene the two share in the school play, Landon is surprised when Jamie in an elegant dress and make up, reveals her self on stage and sings. This along with a kissing scene, spontaneously added by Landon, seems to make him come to a realization concerning his feelings for Jamie. In the following days, Landon continues trying to approach Jamie, but she continues trying to approach Jamie, but she continues to reject him. The breaking point comes when a few friends of Landon play a malicious joke on Jamie. But Landon comes to her aid, renouncing his friends in the process, Jamie finally accept him and agrees to a date. From that day forward, the two begin to fall in love, as Landon helps her accomplish things on her wish list.
In face of the depth of their relationship, Jamie reveals her secrets, she has a leukemia. But even though Jamie is not on his side, Landon continues to fulfill the wishes of Jamie's list, including building her the telescope.
One of the wishes of Jamie is to witness a miracle but Landon, felt sorry because Jamie never got to witness it.Reverend tells Landon that the miracle Jamie witness was him.
It is entitled "A walk to remember" because the narrator, Landon Carter, remembers his life 40 years earlier. When he was a young man of 17. Landon recalls that event occurred that year changed his life forever and that he'll always feel her love.
